Condition:

The work is not lined. The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. There is canvas draw to all four corners of the work. There are scattered hairline craquelures in places throughout. There are scattered paint losses, most notably along the edges, one in the centre left of the composition, a few in the upper right quadrant, a few to the lower right quadrant and a few to the upper left quadrant. There are pinpoint holes in places along the edges that correspond to a previous hanging. When examined under ultra-violet light, there appears to be in-painting in places throughout the work
