Post Lot TextThis is an original work from Thierry Noirs GOLD project which marked the occasion of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games through the artists recreation of Olympic disciplines. Noirs original works on canvas were the source material for animations that were broadcast on monumental digital screens across the globe. GOLD treated the whole world as a single, continuous exhibition space and was exhibited in cities including Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Kampala, Lagos, London, Kingston, New York, and Los Angeles throughout the duration of the Tokyo Olympics in July and August 2021.
