*This painting was part of “Last of the Iron Bridge” series. It was also part of the Dallas Museum of Fine Arts’ rental program. Rascoe studied at the University of Texas and received his BFA and MFA in painting from the Chicago Art Institute 1951. He exhibited his work at Knoedler Gallery: Texas Contemporary Artists, 1952 among many other Southwestern regional art shows. His paintings can be found in the following collections: Houston Museum of Fine Arts and the Dallas Museum of Art.
