Structure: The canvas appears original and unlined. This work is stretched and appears sturdy. Surface: On close inspection, there is a vertical seam running the length of the work, where the canvas has been joined. This seam is clearly visible on the reverse. The work exhibits minor creasing in places. Examples of such creasing can be found near the top and lower edges of the work. There are also light stretcher marks to the extremities of the work. The work exhibits what appear to be a possible minor repair. This repair can be found in the lower left-hand side of the work and a patch is visible on the reverse and in the catalogue illustration. Overall, the work is in good and stable condition.
