Close inspection reveals a few minor losses to the enamel, some small scuff marks and some scratches in isolated places throughout, most noticeably a vertical scratch to the centre left of the windmill on one of the shovels. Further close inspection reveals some small drip marks and media accretions scattered throughout. No evidence of retouching is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
