Under very close inspection, a white pinpoint spot accretion is visible approximately 1-inch up from the bottom edge in the center, and some light drying cracks are visible in the more thickly painted areas along the lower third. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. A few small circular drip accretions fluoresce lightly but are not the result of restoration and are related to the artistâ??s working method.

Condition:

This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges of each canvas. Under very close inspection, faint minor and unobtrusive surface scuffs, unobtrusive burnishing at the corners and inconsistencies in the paint layer are visible, likely inherent to the artistâ??s working method. i. (left panel): There is a pinpoint spot of loss at the lower right corner. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. A light vertical drip accretion fluoresces lightly just below the word â??hereâ?? but is not the result of restoration and is related to the artistâ??s working method. ii. (middle panel): There are minor spots of loss visible at each corner. Under very close inspection, a white pinpoint spot accretion is visible approximately 1-inch up from the bottom edge in the center, and some light drying cracks are visible in the more thickly painted areas along the lower third. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. (right panel): The c-shaped color variation along the lower left edge appears to be a small area of loss to the black paint, revealing the red and purple underlayer. Under raking light, faint vertical stretcher bars are visible and some faint and unobtrusive diagonal abrasions are visible. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. A few small circular drip accretions fluoresce lightly but are not the result of restoration and are related to the artistâ??s working method.
