Edition:

The board appears sound, bowing slightly. The work appears to be in very good overall condition. Some extremely fine craquelure mostly in line with the grain of the board, most apparent to the sky. One or two tiny flecks of associated loss, including to the white pigment of the larger sail. Very minor reticulation to the dark green pigment at centre right. Some tiny specks of staining and accretions to the work. Minor surface dirt and some studio detritus in places. The work would benefit from a light clean. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is presented in a painted wooden frame.
