Markings:
The panel is flat, stable, and beveled on all four edges. The landscape image reads relatively well given the monochrome color palette, though the varnish is discolored and obscures finer details. Under UV inspection, the varnish appears milky and opaque, though a few small retouches from an earlier campaign are visible in the sky and roof of the house. The painting would possibly benefit from a cleaning and fresh varnish. Offered in a decoratively carved giltwood frame.
