Signed and dated P.Kolchin 23.XI.91 (in Cyrillic)
Condition:
In need of a light surface cleaning. Minimal peelings, crackles and retouches.
Provenance:
The Danish seller’s grandparents, the Danish-Russian married couple, Niels Martin Ingemann-Hansen (1876–1957) and his wife, Esther, née Ostrovskaja (1896–1956), both doctors. The couple married in Glostrup and afterwards they settled down in Finland. Esther Ingemann-Hansen was born in Novo-Nikolaevsk near Omsk and brought Russian art into the marriage, including this painting. Thence by descent until today
