LOT DETAILS

Materials:

oil on panel

Measurements:

Edition:

The unframed popular panel is in good order, with a very slight convex bow and two, old vertical battens in the reverse, and a slight crack at the extreme right in the middle. The painted surface is also in good condition, with few retouchings visible under ultra-violet light, these mostly limited to the shadows. With a suitable frame, it could hang as-is. If displayed unframed a few small chips and losses around the extremities which would normally sit under the rebate of a frame could easily be lightly retouched.
