Condition:

Structure: The work is executed on panel and appears sturdy. The work is framed. Surface: There are light scratches throughout the work, particularly to the blue background in the upper right-hand corner of the work. There are a handful of areas (ex: blue moon and central wave) that exhibit a light residue from the use of some form of liquid on the paint surface. This residue could be contemporary to the creation of the work and is only visible on close inspection. Inconsistencies in the varnish in the upper right-hand corner. Very minor areas of loss on the upper edge of the central panel, approx. 30mm. long, with other possible examples elsewhere along edges. Areas of discoloration to the central grey waves, with possible other instances elsewhere. UV Report: Inspection under UV light reveals uneven fluorescence in places, likely due to varnish, but no clear sign of restoration or repair. Overall, the work is in very good and stable condition.
