Condition:
The board is sound. The pigments are bright and fresh. Abrasion to the extreme edges, with associated losses along the edges. One 1/4 inch loss to the board at the lefthand upper edge. Two flattened creases at the lower right corner. One repaired tear 2 inches long at the upper edge towards the upper left corner. Under UV light: strokes of inpainting apparent along the top and right edges, most notably to address the aforementioned tear to the top left edge. This work is in overall good condition. Framed: 20 by 21½ in. (50.8 by 54.6 cm.)
