Condition:

This work is in very good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and well-stretched. The colors are vibrant, and the media layer is stable. There are very faint stretcher marks along the extreme upper and lower edges of the canvas, as well as very minor frame abrasion at the extreme lower right corner. There is a minor faint white diagonal 1 inch scuff in the upper left quadrant in the background. Under UV: two vertical areas of restoration that correspond to repairs on the reverse become apparent; one measuring 4 by 1 inches in the lower left quadrant in the purple field; the other measuring 2 by 1 inches in the lower right quadrant in the round orange element. A few additional tiny dots of inpainting become apparent in the lower left in the grey background. The work is ready to hang. Framed: 46 1/2 by 54 in.
