Condition:
Oil on cardboard nailed to a wooden stretcher along all four edges. The board is stable. There are remains of old varnish in places. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of retouching. Surface is a bit dirty. There is some frame rubbing associated with minor paint losses along the extreme edges, most predominately to the corners, to the lower edge and to the centre of the right edge. This work is in overall good condition and could benefit from a light clean. Please note: Condition XVI of the Conditions of Business for Buyers (Online Only) is not applicable to this lot.
