Structural Condition: The canvases appear original, unlined and sturdy. Surface: The artist employs a mix of media in creating the work, including paper laid/glued to the canvas. The surface of the work exhibits minor areas of crease, this is particularly visible where the pieces of paper have been joined. On close inspection, there appear to be areas of loss to the left canvas, especially in the hands of the two subjects â?? it is uncertain whether this technique is employed by the artist to create a desired effect. UV Light: Inspection under UV light reveals uneven fluorescence, but no clear signs of repair or restoration. Summary: This work appears to be in very good and stable condition.
