Condition:

The work is in good condition. There is a light layer of surface dust to the extreme edges, where the frame meets the canvas, visible only upon close inspection. There is time staining and color variations to the varnish in places, inherent to the artist's chosen materials and consistent with age. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no indication of restoration. The work is framed in a gold painted frame.
