Condition:

The work is in very good condition. The canvas and stretcher appear to be in good condition. The canvas is slightly slack. There are areas of rubbing with associated minor paint losses to the corners. There are scattered tears to the canvas, inherent to the artist's working process. There is scattered hairline cracking to the paint, most noticeable near the upper center edge and vertical edge. There is a slight horizontal stretcher impression along the center. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no indication of restoration. The work is unframed.
