Condition:
Covered in a layer of surface dirt and discoloured varnish. A number of dirty marks across the sky. There is a shadow of a crack from the top right hand corner diagonally across the canvas to the right of the corn stalk. The paint is thin in places due to the artist's application. A number of tiny areas of paint loss within the green of the foreground, one to the left and right of the left hand corn stalk. A push mark to the bottom centre of the greenary and a few small areas of paint loss within this area. Two areas of paint loss to the centre of the sky to the right hand side. Very slight stretcher shadow around the edges. A small spot of a sticky substance to the lower right hand edge
