Condition:
This work is in very good condition overall. The cardboard is flat and even, and the canvas support is well-stretched. The colors are rich, and the media layer is stable. Under UV: a few scattered minor 1/4 inch strokes of inpainting become apparent in the areas of black pigment in the left quadrants, including in the date and the head and legs of the male figure; an intermittent 6-inch vertical line of tiny dots of inpainting becomes apparent in the lower right quadrant; a few additional scattered minor tiny dots become apparent in the upper right and lower left corners. The work looks well and is ready to hang.
