Condition:

The work is framed in a black wooden tray frame. There is light surface dust, visible on close inspection. There is minor rubbing and hairline paint cracking to the corners and edges in places, with some occasional minor associated paint loss, all only visible on close inspection. There is a paint loss to the upper left vertical edge (approx. 1 cm in length) to the lower right vertical edge (approx. 2 cm in length) and lower horizontal edge (approx. 2 cm in length), scattered flattening to the thicker impasto in places with associated very occasional points of paper residue, occasional circular impressions to the impasto in places, scattered hairline paint cracks and two linear surface marks to the lower left vertical edge (approx. 2 cm in length), all only visible on close inspection. When examined under Ultra Violet light, there is an area of fluorescence to the lower right vertical edge and corner, deemed inherent to inpainting. Otherwise, there are no apparent condition issues with this work.
