Extremely close inspection reveals evidence of handling to all four edges and a thin layer of dust that has adhered to the surface of the work. Very close inspection reveals some fine cracks running intermittently along the edges. Further very close inspection reveals some minute paint losses in places to the blue pigment and some fine and superficial scratches to the black background, which are in keeping with the artist's choice of media.No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
