Frame rubbing; Canvas is buckling at corners, with associated flaking/loss at lower right corner; A 1/4 inch tear through canvas with associated loss at back right foot of horse; A 1/4 inch tear with associated loss and apparent inpaint at upper right; An area of flaking to paint at cactus, lower left; Dirty varnish layer; Inpaint at all four corners, inpaint in between arm and head of boy. Some scattered spots of inpaint at top right; Toenailed into frame
