Condition:

In an overall good and original state of preservation. Relatively minor rubbing to outer edges of the canvas. Especially top edge. Small puncture hole to canvas approximately 0.5cm from the edge of the basket held aloft and no more than 0.2mm in diameter. Tiny loss to right hand rolled up sleeve of central standing figure. Some general bubbling to the canvas, mostly contained to the central area with one or two tiny losses and potentially liable to flake away. Covered in a layer of dirt and discoloured varnish. Horizontal scuff to surface within the canopy of the trees on the right hand side and approximately 2cm in length. Stretcher shadow in evidence. The canvas it slightly rippling at lower corners.
