Condition:

Please note the colors and shades in the online catalogue illustrations may vary depending on screen settings. These ferrotyped prints are in generally very good condition. As is typical of the ferrotyping process, a slight unevenness of the generally glossy surface, minor pitting, and hairline scratches are visible in raking light. There is minor edge and corner wear. The edges of each print bow upward slightly. Print 1 (without annotation): The lower right corner is faintly yellowed. The corners are bumped. The reverse is soiled. Print 2 (with annotation): Visible in raking light are scattered deposits of original retouching and a 1/4-inch crease near the lower left edge. There is a matte deposit of indeterminate origin measuring 3/16-inch in diameter near the left edge. There is a 7-inch linear abrasion from the upper left corner to the lower right corner. The paper-ply is peeling back at the upper right corner. There is a tiny loss of emulsion at the center of the image. The reverse is very faintly soiled.
