Condition:
The canvas has not been lined and is securely attached to keyed wooden stretcher. Apart from very fine scattered craquelure in the woman's chest, arms and legs, the paint surface is in very good condition, with fresh colours and fine detail. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals some minor in-painting in the aforementioned craquelure and along the upper extreme right and left edges. This work is in good condition and is ready to hang. Held in a decorative gilt frame
