Condition:

Made using reclaimed material that have further been mechanically deformed during the manufacturing process of the artwork. Therefore historic/inherent signs of wear, marks, deposits and corrosion can expectedly be seen on the surfaces. Irregularities and bends in the bottle caps are in line with the nature of the material used/artist's practice, and considered inherent to the work. Overall the structure appears stable albeit occasional missing copper wires and tears to aluminium elements. Care should be taken when handling the artwork as gaps in the structure can exacerbate each time the work is hung and pleated. It is recommended to change the folds and pleats with each presentation to better distribute stress over the artwork’s lifetime.
