signed and dated 'EL 03' lower right

Condition:

The work is structurally sound. There is occasional minor rubbing to the edges, splintering and hairline cracking to the wood, rust and tarnishing to the metal elements, two nail holes to one of the right vertical wooden slats and one to the lower left of the left vertical slats, all deemed inherent to the artist’s materials used. The right hand centre padlock is unlocked and there are occasional historic adhesive accretions to the lower left of the work, visible on close inspection. All other imperfections are deemed inherent to the nature of the work. Otherwise, there are no apparent condition issues with this work.
