Lined canvas; there appears to be craquelure and light overall surface grime; under UV exam, there appears to scattered spots of inpainting; most notably in several dots inbetween masts of ship, an approx. 3 x 6 inch T shape lines of inpainting following the waterline of ship, and an approx. 3 x 4 inch section on horizon line to the left of ship
