The canvas is lined. Minor frame abrasion along all four corners, most notably along the lower edge. One 1 1/2 inch vertical accretion towards the center of the lower edge, beneath the apples. Under UV light: a layer of varnish obscures a closer reading, but no inpainting is apparent. This work is in good condition. Framed: 14¼ by 16 in. (36 by 40.6 cm.)
