Condition:

Oil on unlined canvas, not examined out of frame. The canvas is somewhat loose on the stretcher with some resultant rippling. The surface is in generally good condition, aside from a few isolated pin dot accretions; a pin dot loss above the pond near lower left edge; and minor frame abrasion along upper and lower edges. The colors remain fresh. Under UV light, there is an unevenly applied green-fluorescing varnish, though a 2 1/2 inch square area of restoration and a small dot of repair in the trees at upper center and fine inpainting along upper and lower edges are visible. A few dots and dashes of fluorescence in the trees and arm of statue. Framed in a simple gold frame and ready to hang in its current state.
