Surface: There is a handful of minor creasing to the canvas, however, these appear contemporary to the creation of the work. On close inspection, there appear to be minor stretcher marks to the extreme edges of the work, and associated paint loss and flaking. The most severe of this flaking can be found in the upper right-hand corner of the work and appears somewhat stable. An example of paint loss is visible along the upper edge of the work, where the artist has used white pigment. On close inspection, there appear to be a network of craquelure forming within the circular motif on the work, these networks appear to be stable.

Condition:

Structure: The canvas appears original, unlined and sturdy. The work is stretched and framed. Please note, there is a horizontal seam near the upper edge, running the width of work where the canvas has been joined. This seam is clearly visible on the verso and visible on close inspection on the recto.
