Materials:

oil on oak panel

Edition:

The panel seems to consist of a single piece of oak panel, bevelled on all sides. The painted surface seems to be in nice condition and is covered with a rather shiny varnish layer. Discoloured retouchings can be observed in the sky and repaired surface scratches can be seen running in the centre of the sky area. UV: the varnish layer fluoresces somewhat showing retouchings in the sky (grain of the wood), two larger ones in the right part of the sky, and a few in the water part in the lower left corner. Some minor strengthening can be seen in the lower right foreground. Frame: black/brown veneer wooden frame.
