Condition:

The canvas appears original. There is a push to the canvas in the centre of the roof of the building depicted in the upper right quadrant. There is a tiny nick towards the right corner of the upper edge and along the lower edge towards the left corner. There is a scuff in the upper left quadrant. There is light surface dirt in places to the work, with some instances of minor surface matter and studio detritus, and some accretions. This excepting, the work appears to be in good overall condition. A layer of paint has been applied to the reverse of the canvas that appears to be by the same hand. Inspection under Ultraviolet light does not appear to reveal any signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is presented in a composite canvas and painted wooden frame.
