Age-appropriate silvering is visible in the darkest tones and at the edges. Scattered deposits of original retouching are visible in raking light. The photograph is mounted to outmeal-colored paper, which is age-darkened overall. There are scattered brown deposits, possibly foxing, on both the front and reverse. There is minor edge and corner wear. The reverse is darkened in a rectangular area corresponding to the dimensions of the photograph, possibly a result of the mounting adhesive. The following is written in pencil and ink in an unidentified hand: 'Lucial [sic]- by Consuelo Kanaga.' The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale.
