inscribed with artist's signature and numbered 26; stamped with the foundry mark Eug. Blot Paris

Condition:

Bronze with brown-green patina. The figure is attached to the base at two places. Moderate verdigris and abrasion to the patina throughout the figure's body and along the bottom edge of the base, most notably along the figure's torso and back legs. Hairline joining seams are visible at the figure's upper arms, inherent to the casting process. Accretions of dust in the deep crevices of the body. Light surface scratching visible throughout. One pindot loss to the base between the figure's feet. This work is in overall very good condition.
