Condition:

unframed: 64 by 19cm.; 25¼ by 7½in. The board appears sound. The work appears in very good overall condition. The left edge is slightly rough and uneven, in keeping with the Artist's materials. A small area of paint loss in the lower right corner and a few further instances along the lower edge. A small possible loss to the yellow pigment in the centre of the composition, possibly Artist's working method. A few small instances of loss primarily towards the left edge, some of which may be in keeping with the Artist's working methods. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. The work is floated and held in a mount and behind glass in a painted wooden frame.
