Condition:

Structure: The canvas appears to be original and stable. Surface: There are stretcher marks visible along the edges of the works. Light wear and associated very minor surface loss to corners. There are light flecks and spots of surface dirt/marks in places, more visible within yellow areas. There is a small dent and associated surface cracking to the black outline area within the lower left-hand corner of the work. This dent measures approx 2cm wide. On close inspection, there appears to be a handful of raised areas within the right-hand side of the work. These areas are reflected on the reverse as areas where the weaving appears loosened or reinforced. UV Light: Inspection under UV light reveals no signs of restoration or repair.
