Conceived in 1962-4, the present work is from the edition of 6 plus 1 Artist's cast.

Markings:

The sculpture appears sound. The sculpture consists of two pieces that loosely interlock. The surface of the bronze is uneven and there is pitting in some places, in line with the Artist's intentions. There may be a small number of possible nicks to the extreme edges. There is some light rubbing to the sculpture in places, with a few faint scuffs to the back of the shoulders with a few further possible more minor instances elsewhere. There are instances of oxidisation and casting residue in places and some dirt and surface matter to creviced areas. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
