Condition:
The canvas is strip-lined along the extreme edges (as visible on the catalogue illustration of the reverse). The canvas is a bit lose. There is an uneven varnish. Examination under UV light reveals some areas and lines of retouching throughout the composition. There are some craquelures and some paint shrinkage in areas (visible under close inspection), some of which associated with flecks of paint losses. There is some frame rubbing along the extreme edges. Please note: Condition XVI of the Conditions of Business for Buyers (Online Only) is not applicable to this lot.
