Rote Dne - Prerow (Red dune - Prerow)

Condition:

The board is sound. The board is backed by wooden batons at each edge. Inspection under UV light reveals small, sensitively executed spots of retouching in the upper right quadrant (mainly at the upper edge), and also in the extreme upper corners. There is one artist's pinhole at the centre of the left edge and there is some rounding to the board at each of the extreme corners. There is a fine pattern of craquelure across the surface of the work, most noticeably in the upper right quadrant towards the upper edge. There are a few very small flecks of pigment loss, mainly in the left hand side of the composition and at the extreme edges. The board is slightly time stained and there are some minor stains to the board in the lower left corner. This work is in overall good condition. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale. The condition report is provided to assist you with assessing the condition of the lot and is for guidance only.
