Condition:

Overall the condition of the terracotta is very good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a slip to the surface throughout. There are a few minor stable firing cracks, including hairline fissures on the proper left side of the chin and to the proper right breast. There are more significant fissures around the hair at the back and at the back of the integral socle. There are a few possible minor chips, including around the bottom edge. There is some general wear to the wood socle, including some stable splitting, some staining, and a few nicks. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale.
