The canvas has been lined and is securely attached to a keyed wooden stretcher. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals large areas of retouching in the sky, possibly addressing some thinness to the paint, and some small, scattered spots of cosmetic retouching notably in the lower left quadrant.
