Sympathetic lining. Virgin in good condition. Retouching throughout the dark folds of the blue drapery, particualrly under her hands. Restored damage on putto's head lower left and further restorastions up and down the right hand vertical margin and, to a far lesser extent along left vertical margin. Scattered retouchings throughout background. Old varnish has been left patchy, particularly in background where also the craqulure seems to have been partially painted over. Overall the painting presents well and is ready to hang.
