Markings:
signed L. Solon, with Mintons impressed mark to the underside.
Condition:
Minor chip approximately 3/8 inches in length to the edge. Slip, enameled and gilt decoration intact. Scattered, minuscule instances of bubbling and subsequent surface loss to the ground glaze. Faint inscription, as well as light shelf wear to the underside. Examination under UV light reveals an area of overpainting to the edge chip. Additional images available upon request.
