Kundukan was born in 1983 in İstanbul. She graduated from the Tayfun Erdoğmuş Studio at the Art Department of Fine Arts Faculty of Marmara University. In her paintings, installations and sculptures, authority and violence have become ordinary elements, where she sets the ground for discussion on the extraordinary settings of patriarchy blended with customs, traditions and religious pressures. Kundukan, in a way, incorporates the viewer into her intimacy with her artwork, since her major resource is fed with her childhood years. She lives and continues to work in İstanbul.
