Yves Vacarisas was born in Algiers. He studied at The Beaux-Arts School of Algiers and the Beaux-Arts School of Paris. He also spent time studying at the Casa Velasquez in Madrid. His work reflects the atmosphere of its native country in which the spaces are white and the forms erased by a creative sun of shadows.
