Tatiana Demidoff-Seguin was born in the mid 1930‘s in Algers, Algeria to a Russian father and Spanish mother. She trained in classical art and sculpture, before taking exile in Paris with her family. While continuing her studies in drawing and painting, she met the Quebec historian Maurice Seguin, whom she married and immigrated to Quebec with him in 1962.
