The author (Nievaldová Miloslava (Prague 1952) studied at the Faculty of Education of the Charles University in Prague. After graduating in 1976, she first focused on painting, but since the 1990s she has used glass to express her artistic opinions. Although she never studied glass at art school, she had experience with painting on glass. She made windows for architecture and mainly worked with the technique of fused sculpture. Her objects are full of fragility and fantasy in terms of preserving the substance of fused glass. The author works on the surfaces of the sculpture in a sensitive way.
