Nataša Katalina is an artist born in Belgrade, currently living and working in Vienna. She finished Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Department: Wall Painting. On the same Faculty she earned her MA on the subject "Mosaic as an intervention in space". Practical part of her thesis was carried out in the lobby of the Children's Cultural Center Belgrade. As part of her artistic work she was an author of several workshops about the basic techniques of mosaic. Two years in a row, her project "Mosaic workshop" received funds from the Ministry of Culture for implementation. Group of highschool students led by Nataša decorated four big columns downtown Belgrade. Nataša was also an author of workshops within The October Salon, BINA-Belgrade International Week of Architecture and at the Center for the promotion of Science. Among other works she is specially proud of her mosaic in the fountain in front of the house of eminent Serbian architect Nikola Nestorović. Nataša had two solo and many group exhibitions. Her artistic fields are figurative art and landscapes. Her expression is accompanied with vibrant color and optimism.
