Michel AJERSTEJN is a French artist who was born in the Belleville area of Paris in the 1950's. After studying in a school for visual art and architecture, he discovered photography through a chance encounter with Willy Ronis and developed a passion for photo and graphic arts. His works are based on mixed techniques, the « photographer-visual artist » isolating and twisting an urban environment, through color changes and transposition to any type of translucent or metallic material.
